A Jester's Flair

I am a hurricane, a vortex of complexity An external halcyon state, inside, I'm not thinking straight. Dragging each day by the hair The same sorry bassline plays a warning scale. Eyes focused on the horizon, when you don't look back you fail to see what's creeping up behind you. There is a weakness. A self-induced vulnerability, I granted you immunity Now I'm crashing, kicking out at lifeless brakes You distract me with a jester's flair In the modicum before impact... "Don't touch me" said warily, heavily, the words already well used.
