A Jazzist Life II

Looking at the woman, he saw beauty shining in her eyes.
Her smile would massage his heart as he stared. They could not look away from one another. It had been a few weeks since they were dating. It almost did not come to pass when the man had asked another person to a date prior. For now, the man and woman would smile and walk together. At their first performance in the band, Jowa was from a land different than that of the man. Her land was part of his land before they gained independence. Still, they felt a close connection as they had gone through pain prior. At times, each one would tell the other not to worry; however, the Spirit would not let them go away with confusion. They would speak more intently. Even as they said others would not feel their union to be ordained by anything. The man first knew her love when he would stand back and let his decision take place. She smiled at him and gave her blessing. When the man took the other person out, he was troubled by what he saw. The date did not communicate for over a day until the man reached out to see if she was coming. As he gave the address to the false mature woman, he was ready to eat alone. The false woman expressed her miscommunication and was on her way home. As she gave her address, she told him that he would have to pick her up because she had drinks. The man picked her up and was excited to see her. At the restaurant, she would order a martini. Her choice turned him off as she had had previous beverages. His choice was carbonated water. By the end of the night, her mind was buzzing. He took her home. They kissed on the cheek, as both of their cultures (he is Italian/Spanish, she is Latin American Spanish (LAS)) do when meeting friends and relatives. He did not feel a spark of love, nor did he experience a shock. A week would pass before he spoke to the girl of his dreams. During that week before they spoke, she was so sad that the man realized she was the one he cared for the most. They spoke intently, and he admitted to being a fool and that he had no love for the person (LAS) he had taken out to dinner. Jowa admitted her thoughts of jealousy. It warmed his heart, knowing she cared for him. His heart belonged to her, the one whom he always thought about and would always pray for every day. She had a special place in his heart, as she is his Jowa. They speak with love and consistently communicate. The first and last thoughts on each other’s minds. They feel strong for one another.
