A Hunger and a Need

my writing is a silent art practiced in the hush of night when the moon is glowing and my cat is sleeping in her bed softly snoring and purring and from my heart and soul I write, the words falling on my pages, I write of the dead, and of nature breathtakingly beautiful, my pen finds grief, and love and for all this I receive no wage for this art of words is a hunger and a need ________________________ December 26, 2021 Poetry/Verse/a hunger and a need Copyright Protected, ID 12-1416-260-26 All Rights Reserved, 2021, Constance La France Written for the Standard contest, A Strand (Dec 26) sponsor, Brian Strand, Judged 12/27/2021

Hello Constance ... once we start jotting lines down, writing verse is something that pleases ourselves and we share with others - thank you Constance - Lindsay
