A Hundred Poems - Lxxiv

MY little one
   whom I love
that you are grown
I still (a little one)
see, that I have helped
   tie the shoes of
the little feet
Now all grown, to thee
my love still grows
but now a bigger one
You must tie the shoes
of bigger feet!
