Ah gosh, visiting your page and reading is like a deep insightful experience, dear David, and this kimo just left me thinking so much. It hasn't been pleasant lately, especially last two days, with omen orchids weeping somewhere in my heart. Sigh! Also my asthma being triggered. I often see a crow having some deep spiritual meaning, that doesn't steer my mind away at all! But the voice is just never too loud to make the grief seem dull. We have an abundance of railways here ~ and pretty hassling woah and yes that line "nature cannot see the point" well the thing Abt nature is that it just flows ~ rather than us humans who remain devoured by force ~ well, I also wrote my first ever kimo but this is just a genius one, I might say poetically intellectual too! Sending you soothing stars and sunshine! ⭐⭐🌊💫

Thanks so much for stopping by Hiya, this one possibly needs a couple of reads for perspective to develop, but you certainly got the point, a fair bit of wordplay going on here too; I’m so sorry to hear you have been poorly, and hope those unpleasant symptoms settle down, I’m off on holiday very soon, so will be away from PS for a few weeks, hopefully my muse will reenergise while I’m away, cheers for kind comment, soothing stars and sunshine, I’ll pack them away for a rainy day 🪎, cheers David

Speaking of Crow! An angry crow, at 7 am my time ~ while I was on the deck ~ just listening to the rippling ache, of waves, visited me and was like making eye contact and screaming! And I was like! If only it could Heed the heavy hurt within my heart! The voice in my heart was worse! Gosh What a deep kimo! Hmm made me think “ nature cannot see the point” i always thought nature did ~ but maybe not? Railways ~ hah! We dont have any in the maldives’ perhaps in the future we might have an underwater one! Pleasure reading Sending u light

Heya Ink hope that heavy hurt heals soon, I think most of us poets find it difficult to outrun, we are cursed and blessed (sometimes) with such deep existential thoughts; the point I was making in my poem, is related to the railway points that change the direction of the train to get it from A to B, the crow 🐦‍⬛just bypasses all obstacles and flies direct to wherever it’s going, if only life was so easy to navigate 🗺️ 🙃, thanks so much for visiting this little piece, your light is reciprocated, cheers David

no matter the route flown by a crow ~ it’s safer than one humans know. Hope you get another contest win, David.

Wise words Lin! We do take some shortcuts but they come with a price, thanks so much for well wishes in contest, I’ve no idea how this one may go, hopefully it’s the direct route lol! Cheers David

Ha why do any of us weave? I'm a zigzagger and honer in - I imagine the crow is even more baffled if they observe me! Saying that, next time I'm in the hammock I might observe a crow - all this judging they do and I bet they are loop the looping and living on reputation alone 😅

Haha! yeah that poor crow might end up doing 60 miles + if following your point to point journey, a zigzagger sounds about right, but you’re right Laurentine, the crow doesn’t care less about our math or technology, that was indeed my point, it has its own way of getting from A to B, and a side shuffle built in for redundancy, 🐦‍⬛ Cheers David!

I do hope so Super Mo, my first attempt at a Kimo, all the wisdom is with nature, alas the power is with us, cheers David
