A Human Quest
“Cease not, it’s a human quest”
It’s a whole lot more to see the wonders of nature
The mountains, rivers and trees give delight to human sight
Like for one which searches where beauty rests
it’s in this haven that unlocks its essence.
Perhaps man shapes himself with nature
In simple ways where he understands well
that’s his growing consciousness with his milieu.
Its deeper horizon attunes to entirety.
A unique way of thinking, feeling and acting;
the reason it gauges is cogent and sound
to find its fulfillment in the heart of existence.
When he fails to be of help to others in general,
there’s a door of compromise between reason and regret
Like nature, when it brings discomfort to man
a rapid complaint can be aired in abundance.
But to see various angles in the light of truth
Man may be inept to achieve its fullness
drenched with limitations, he errs
Like nature, it carries its strength and pitfalls.
More than what nature wants to hold
is but its beauty that transcends one’s soul
to the height of dreams and hopeful desire
that nothingness but to be in union with God.
