A House Isn'T a Home

A house isn't a home without the people I Love being in it. It feels so empty. I miss the love my parents always emit. A house Isn't a home without the people I Love being in it. It feels like my heart has split. This is a tragedy. A house isn't a home without the people I Love being in it. It feels so empty.

I can relate to this poem. When my parents passed and I had to sell their home. I remember walking through the empty rooms and realized that their home had become a house. I took all of the memories of living in the home with me. They belonged to me , and not to the house. You poem conveys this so brilliantly, Bette

I am glad you could relate to my poem. I think this is one of the biggies of life that just isn't fair. Thank you for the visit.

You have expressed what I feel when I race back to re-live a moment in a childhood home that is only a house now, nothing more.
