A Horse Is a Horse
A HORSE IS A HORSE….
Back in the sixties long ago,
TV programming was awfully slow
we'd tune into our favorite show,
Mr. Ed, the talking horse.
Peanut butter forced his smile,
and made his lips move for awhile,
his conversations versatile,
remembering Mr. Ed.
In black and white without the frills,
he brought the audience some thrills,
to witness his conversing skills,
watching Mr. Ed.
Our fondest thoughts still restore
memories of shows from before
they’re not made like that anymore
We loved you, Mr. Ed
