A Horizons' Gold

Flourishing leaves and solemn sunsets,
Yield sensual feelings to never forget.

A brisk moment of natural beauty,
From an evening suns' casting duty.

Staring in awe like a child's first snow,
Gazing through panes in a bedroom window.

A horizons' gold for eyes to behold,
Dimming the earth with shadows so cold.

Fine-ration the seconds,
sweet-savor the sight.
The slimming light beckons,
just prior to night.

Oh, just beautiful! I really love that last stanza - savour fleeting moments, because they're gone in the blink of an eye :)
