A Hopeful Glimmer
A glimmer of hope for the world,
Resides in the eyes of children
And the innocence of their hearts
Pure smiles, angelic laughter
Untarnished souls.
A glimmer of hope for you
Resides in my heart
Where you will always be welcomed with open arms
A place where you can always return to
No matter what you have done
A glimmer of hope for us
Resides in our dreams
Where I dream of you, and you dream of me every night
To hold one another in each other's arms
And to love one another like we did before you left.
