A hopeful day

Doom falls over my day,
Makes me feel like a corpse about to decay.
"A pitiful life," is what I say.
But life will move my heart to sway,
I will move on to my way,
And that day my smile will stay.
Birds will chirp and play,
Their music to my ears will make me gay.

We all have them 'doom' days but the sun always rises and shines again. Tom
