A Homage To Our Friend, Mr. Lesly Simon Anselme

Brothers and sisters,
Our town, Anse d’Hainault, has lost one of its distinguished sons,
A true gentleman, Mr. Lesly Simon Anselme.
He was a man beloved by all the people of Anse d’Hainault.
That’s a very sad news, for us, in the diaspora!
Our sincere condolences go out to the entire family
And to all those grieving this loss. A friend has departed.
I cannot be there in person to shed my tears,
Yet I am there in prayer, in words, and in spirit.
I am currently traveling.
May he rest in peace! What a sorrowful passing!

Hommage À Mr. Lesly Simon Anselme

Frères et sœurs, Anse d’Hainault a perdu un de ses lauréats,
Un ‘gentleman’, Mr. Lesly Simon Anselme.
C’est un homme que tous les Hainaudins aiment.
Quelle triste nouvelle, pour nous, dans la diaspora !
Nos sincères condoléances à toute la famille
Et à tous affectés par ce deuil. Un ami est parti.
Je ne pourrai pas être present en corps et en larmes,
Cependant, j’y serai en prière, en mots et en âme.
Je suis maintenant en voyage à Montréal, au Canada.
Que la terre lui soit légère ! Quel triste trépas !
