A Homage To Homage

In the field of sorrow,
A young girl cries,
Tears of grief,
For a friend who's died.

Memories so vivid,
Strain her heart
The boy has gone,
And they're forever apart.

It seems that sorrow,
Can dent your soul,
It consumes your being,
Swallows you whole.

And as time passes,
The tears will dry,
But still she sheds them,
Just from the inside.

For my friend Homage, gone but never forgotten and forever loved.

A feeling that most of us have felt and will always feel when we lose someone so very close. Well written - Ginny
