Notes About The Poem

A Holy Fire

Life is full of pain and sorrow
Struggles today and struggles tomorrow
Grief, regrets and worries we borrow
But there is One who relieves all our sorrow

Chorus:

He makes a way through our worst days
Teaches us to give with love that does amaze
With hearts full of grace, mercy and praise
He fills up our lives with a Holy fire that does blaze

Life is full of chaos, toils and cares
At times we fail to see past the woe and tears
To the beauty of our blessings and prayers
Where we meet the One who relieves all our cares

Chorus:

He makes a way through our worst days
Teaches us to give with love that does amaze
With hearts full of grace, mercy and praise
He fills up our lives with a Holy fire that does blaze

Life is full of dread, mourning and heartache
Weeping that comes even before you awake
Leaving you with fright that is surely a mistake
But there is One who relieves the worst heartbreak

Chorus:

He makes a way through our worst days
Teaches us to give with love that does amaze
With hearts full of grace, mercy and praise
He fills up our lives with a Holy fire that does blaze
