A Holiday Rainbow
A rainbow
not just Christmas lights,
why not,
menorah light?
An Advent wreath
of billowing candles,
a black harmonic Quanzaa light,
or Ramadan lantern’s haloes white?
Diversity is a rainbow,
colors of the world
impressed upon hearts
of generosity and faith
during the
happiest, blessed
days of the year.
Colors of red, brown,
yellow, white;
mixed hues refracting
joyous spirits.
A generous,
sharing, caring,
feeding, warming,
loving, singing,
ever so warm
and bright
time.
Pastels, chromatics,
bold and intense;
painted upon a world canvas,
a blending of
harmonic
elation
in glowing
celebration.
