The once was a man from faraway
who held life in his hand as the pen did sway
With ink on the page, He left us a daze
And all the the ladies did swoon away!

Witty, Ms. Guzzi. I feel that you have entered a game of back and forth. Good luck! As you can see, I redid my contest entry and my entire poem, based on your shrewd and perceptive deductions of my first attempt. I thought about your soup mail and I realized that you were more right than I knew. Thank you. I hope that I did not violate any unwritten rule( sic) about entering a contest doing this.
