A High Order Truncation, a Haiku

A high order truncation,
        a Haiku!

The tree cast a shadow over my body,
  I slept in rags,
  homeless in the park;
soon, there was a thump;

A Haiku

no shattered glass,
  only charred skin,
  blackest of darkness,
with blue eyes peering out!
