A Helping Hand
It comes to a time in life
That everyone needs a helping hand
Whether it’s a battle with depression
Or life’s ups and downs
Either way your spirit gets
Or your world gets hit with
Heavy forces of negativity
On the other side is mental illness
Whether it is mild or extreme
It’s a real serious problem
Sometimes even if you try to help
A person sometimes your solution
Seems to help at times but most
Times it fails, it’s not an easy task
For the person or for the one that’s
Trying to help, and it becomes
Over-whelming in the long run
