A Heart’s Conduit
Is a Mouth

Sedated thoughts oft fill our heads,
Anticipating their time of flight;
But better that most remain unsaid,
If given little thought or foresight.
For words we utter have their start,
Not happenstance, as one might suspect.
But were birthed inside our hearts,
Those thought hurtful we must reject.
