A Heartfelt Surrender
What was I trying to do,
In that moment,
I'd spoken to you?
What did I really want?
What did I hold,
Within my heart?
She was not,
My deepest thought,
Yet,
I'd let her come along;
She, and any deed I've done,
Has become far gone.
