A Heartbreaking Choice

All my dreams I need to follow
For a clear brighter tomorrow
But my head is in confusion
There has been a big intrusion
In my brain saying not to go ahead
Stay right here with me instead
I don't know how I should feel
Trying so hard to conceal
All the feelings in my heart
Not wanting me to part
From this great new world I'm in
Leaving it would be a sin
Since the day we first met
Your loves something I wont forget
Should I leave or stay right here
Its so wrong, not right or fair
That this choice is gonna be
Leaving us in misery
Both of us have been so touched
By this love that means so much
We need to be really strong
Either choice I make is wrong
But my dreams are waiting for
Me to pack, walk out the door
To a future destiny
That is waiting there for me

Hi Robin.. I thoroughly enjoyed reading your well crafted write this evening. I always appreciate the giftings of a pen in the hand of a poet!
