This is another poem from my series "My Mission in a Poembook" I wrote this one about some of the amazing people I met who really had hearts of gold and were ready to accept God's words and hands in their lives! People like that who are so humble and so loving are such an inspiration to me and I hope this poem will inspire you as well! Enjoy! ~Heather

A Heart of Gold

A heart of gold
Is willing to change,
Willing to learn,
Willing to say
That God matters,
And God knows
More than I ever can
So I will 
Follow Him.

A heart of gold
Is funny and bright
Sometimes awkward,
Or shy,
But sees the light 
In life
Even with darkness
And strife.

A heart of gold
God has written in,
Fears not reproach of men,
And moves forward
Through the night
To find the
Everlasting light.
