A Heart Full of You
Before time existed - MY HEART WAS FULL OF YOU-
for you have always been my dream come true.
Periwinkle mornings with a splash of tangerine,
never saying adieu,
keeping vows true;
our love, the most magical playwright I’ve ever seen.
So, I walk with my head held as high as the mount,
for ease cascades, flowing gently down the fount-
simple nights held under the glowing harvest moon,
savor the amount,
love shall surmount;
melodies flood as my mind recalls our youthful tune.
My heart was full of you before time existed,
I thank the kind Lord above we never resisted.
Embraced by chiffon in a bed made of affection,
we both persisted,
true love enlisted;
for loyalty binds as we share a rare connection.
My love-
you have always been my dream come true,
and
that’s why my heart shall always be full of you.
