A Heart
A heart can tell
When another is true
And although it might be confused
It does what it’s led to do
A heart can see
When someone’s in need
And in desperate times
A heart can learn to lead
A heart can feel
Another heart’s beat
Yet as simple as it sounds
It’s a difficult feat.
A heart can take
Only so much pain
But, in the end it overcomes
And learns to love again
Although the heart can endure
A large amount of ache
It’s only a matter of time
And once again the heart will break
A heart can repeatedly
Be broken to the core
Yet love and give it time
And it’ll come back stronger than before
