A Haunting in Alabama
I found you.
From the floorboards, to the trunk, to the stairs, to my table, you shambled. Howling and bleeding.
God, I had wanted so badly to recognize you.
To have some common ground with someone, even if it was just a ghost.
But, here we are.
You,
some memoir to a dead boy whose face is stretched so badly across the pain inside you.
And me,
some sad survivor.
