A Harmonious Life

In righteousness, find your place,
Avoid extremes, seek wisdom's grace.
Why destroy yourself in zeal,
Let measured steps your actions seal.

Neither wicked nor a fool,
Balance life, abide by rule.
Why face an early, needless fall,
When tempered ways embrace the all?

Grasp the good, let go of ill,
Fear the divine, let your heart be still.
In God's reverence, wisdom finds,
A life harmonious, gently binds.
