Ah, my Mother just filled my fondest wishes Licking an ice cream cone, oh, it is delicous! Vanilla ice cream for a great dog like me? Tastes so soft, tasty, add a touch of heavenly. I had my yearly shots and also, a haircut too. Mom’s my favorite, she walks me to doggie loo! I sleep soundly near her bed, when day is done. I waken with her in joy to see the morning sun! Going to the vet, of course,is really not my style. But to be with my mother..golly, I’d run many miles! Love from your dog, “Happy” 4/17/2024

Oh, great, Sara. This poem is light of heart. Owners know pets arent too overjoyed to visit with Dr. Bark! But, they have a burst of joy and energy when leaving. They can’t wait to get back to the car. Usually, after a bath and haircut, they get a cute cowboy scarf to wear.)) the owners are impressed, the dogs just want out. I loved the picture, too. Hugs, Pangie xx

Great idea!! Unfortunately…. Happy passed away 75 years ago, a little late.. lol. After Happy, my Dad bought a purebred dog again…Chihuahua! He had a great name…Don El Capitan…on his papers. “Cappy” and I used to go to Russell’s barbecue on Thatcher Road and she’d eat a small amount of hamburger in the car, That dreamy, tChevy Impala Convertible. Those were some days with the top down driving along in that beautiful car with Cappy at my side. And just think …a V-8 motor.. not these babyish cars they make now. Pangie, “Wild-Side” Romios Be well!

Hi Regina! So glad you enjoyed the doggy poem. I’m waiting for someone to tell me that dogs can’t eat ice cream.. lol.. This was written in fun and for the love of dogs. Dogs get frightened when going to the vet. They shake a lot. Elena and I struggle to get her into a carrying case. Irene loves to hiss at the vet! But he knows how to keep her under control! Nice you stopped in… Pangie xx
