A Hand To Hold

When drums go moving mad
Crazy steps because the vogue
When my heart loses its flame
Will your love drive out the chills?

Rhythm keep the heart aglow
Strong to face its daily tasks
If this torah begins to wane
Will you then show me the light?

There for me through vale and hill
When the heart is seared and sore
When joy sounds are fading fast
Will you then lend me a song?

This business of life is tough
With no friend to hold my hand
But with you in joy and pain
I see happy days ahead.

What a beautiful day and how wonderful it is to be able to read what was on your mind and in your heart when you wrote this poem Benjamin. I hope you have a weekend full of new found inspiration. Love, Carol
