A Gun On My Side

I rode into town
not looking for a fight

If you draw your gun
I will put you in my sight

I'm looking for a place
 to lay my head

If you try to hurt me
I will shoot you dead

I'm on the trail
of a wanted man

I'm taking him back
to where it all began

There he will be hanged
by the end of a rope

For his life is over
there is no hope

I am carrying a weapon
 a gun on my side

I can shoot from my horse
when I ride

If I am forced to use it
you bet that I will

No man will stop me
one shot, one kill

Six shots in my gun
and fast on the draw

I'm a bounty hunter
and he's the outlaw

Another good poem. Most poets here WOUKD be afraid to use the word GUN. Let alone use one.
