A Gun

She has a gun
What will she do?
Who is it meant for?
Is it meant for you?

He has a gun
He is filled with fear
What is he planning?
Can you see his tear?

They have guns
They are not sure why
They are trying to make a stand
They are trying not to lie.

I have a gun
That I am certain
I'm searching around me
Peering behind the curtain.

We have guns
What will we do?
Turn our leaves over
Start anew?
