A Guiding Light To Me
You were and always
will be the shining
light
That shines brightly
on me and guides me
through
Life’s darkest
moments, you have
Been there in my
good times and the
Bad, the happy times
and also
The sad.
You were my rock the
one who
Understood me when
nobody else ever
Could,
You lit up my path
in the dark of night
You were my guiding
Light that always
Shone so bright,
keeping me warm and
Safe and tightly you
held my hand
To show me the way
to help me
Stand.
You have been more
than a friend could
ever be
You were always
there for me in my
hour of need
And comforted me in
word and deed.
Since I lost you
that sad day I
cannot put into
Words what my heart
would want say now
that
You have gone your
own sweet way
But I will never
forget the friend
you were
And always will be a
Shining and Guiding
Light to me.
