Thank you, Julia. They've been around our neck of the woods since the 90's perhaps, can't remember the exact date of the first one. I usually go for the white wedding cake myself.

What can I say? Your comment accepted and appreciated despite the swollen head it leaves me with. Thanks for making me feel worthwhile, Funom. Wish I had some cake to offer.

Thank you, Andrea. I can always count on you for a helpful comment. We've have groom's cakes at several weddings I've attended lately, usually smaller and a favorite of the groom, baked by him or his family. Doesn't hurt to have a choice.

I HOPE the bride likes it. Our could it perhaps have be baked for two "manly men"?

Thanks for the read to answer your question - Could be. Generally speaking most brides want the traditional 3-4 tiered white cake, white icing, with the figurine on top.

thanks, Tim, purely hypothetical, but much wedding cake is so dry and uninteresting.
