A Grammarian
It was a stolen date on a late winter evening
Placing rosy dots on her cheek with a hug
A secret told to the senses instead to ears
Then found the right place for the kisses,
Kisses stamped one after the other like tears.
The real ones that I could not hold them back.
There were brief, swift and before were done
The floodgates open like a grammar book.
Starting with a comma then a question mark
Followed by an exclamation point of learning
The basic spelling that all lovers should know.
Began the kiss with colon, she got all the options.
Shake her strongly till the imageries, metaphors,
Similes are forsaken till looks like a new born.
