Notes About The Poem
love your children.

A Grain of Salt

A GRAIN OF SALT

Once you had a beautiful child
like a grain of salt, you took her,
you had a beautiful child given to you
You never saw her, never adored her,
never cherished her.

As she was passing through she found
a pasture in a painted picture; So she moved on
Now she is gone, she has moved on.
One day you saw a child playing in a field-
in a painted picture,and remembered...

That you once had a beautiful child
who was never at fault-and with a grain of salt
and a passionate heart- You could have loved her.
