A Golden Morning
Wearing translucent blankets of golden sun rays
The trees looked bright and sparkly
Enjoying the warmth of the shimmers
The leaves started their photosynthesis factory
Showing its noticeable sophisticated pattern
A cobweb was shining in the morning glimmer
A gust of cool breeze in the air
Made a climb of a hill a little easier
Songs of various birds tweeting on the trees
Played background music of various pitched melodies
Tree branches’ eye-catching artistic twists and turns
Showed deep green foliage densely grown
Vibrant striking clusters of Crepe Myrtles
Had gorgeous blooms of magenta, white and purple flowers
Views of blueness of the lake waters
Brought eyes a feeling of cooling wonder
A snug little town settled near the lake banks
Was displaying beauty of pretty homes and their yards
Sprinklers running on the green lawns
Had shiny rainbows in their water drops
A golden morning ornate with many angles of Mother Nature’s exquisiteness
Brought the pair back home with content minds filled with happiness
