A Golden Grain of Sand

We often live our lives with a firm foundation Laughing and smiling, then sometimes hurt At another time we all seem to give our all In a firm circumstance, just like a pile of dirt At times we like to stack our morals so high For just one moment we seem to think we won Next moment then it all seems to all blow away Then thereafter, we initially think that we won For many do think our victories can be so undone Then as we all walk on a crystal like grain of sand As so many of women and men seem to demand Off in the distance, there seems to be no real escape Like the all allusive drifting of the golden like sand Now let me hold onto your delicate inviting hand Cause for us it all can be our path to our final destiny For many long extended tender loving hours As we lie so far away form the inviting sun Initially we'll be together as one whole being of one. 07/23/2016
