A Glass Nightmare

Glass lies and rotting angels
Cradled in your arms
All those you say betrayed you
Have fallen by your hands

Glass eyes and dancing demons
Coat your ashen world
No light, just blood and darkness
Your mirror’s far too scared

Glass pain and numbness haunting
Now you just can’t fall
Your death, a sight of laughter
You break down every wall

Glass names and people hiding
Anger lifts your mind
Reach deep to cleanse their spirits
Their hearts will all be mine

I wake and find the mirror
The nightmare breaks away
Glass warmth and silence fading
It’s just one more fate that’s played
