A Girl Named Hope
I went in town today and discovered a new place
Or maybe I was dreaming
I town filled with tiny lights of hope
And there I met her
Although I am of tin and rusted mental I felt her warth
In this place of green and medow pastels I was brought
A place where nothing dies and nothing is born
A girl was put here
Dressed in silk and satin
She lives a lonely life
Looking out in an open horizon of space and time
Placed in a small cabin she longed for a friend
But now we must move for winter approaches
A change of season she has never known
A time where hope is most needed
And so we gather the lights
With a gentle touch I carry to a place I once called home
So will you come back with me to a special place in town
where nothing is born and nothing dies
Where all your dreams can come true
A special place I wonder off to.
