A Gift of Love
Love chooses you, in many ways.
Subtle tricks to blend in the haze.
Exaggerating to enthrall,
to build up just before the call,
planting a tiny seed of praise.
You wonder if this is a craze,
then put it off as if a phase
yet slowly you begin to stall.
Love chooses you!
Walking around you’re in a daze,
with eyes glassy and mind ablaze.
You know that you will before all
stand and marry her in the fall.
So why does one ponder the ways
love chooses you!
