Shielded by dark clouds from suspicious sun's glare She slipped out the door Took him up on his dare To find a gentler path a rose amidst thorns To turn her life around To wake up every morn To the voice of birds singing to a world at peace No more screams ringing from Pain a surcease He awoke, she was gone lightning bolts rent his dawn
