A Gentle Rain

The world feels cleansed After a gentle spring rain Before July’s monster humidity takes over Cat and I luxuriate in the freshness A silent commune Reverent appreciation He nuzzles my arm affectionately. Licked by his sandpaper tongue, I feel loved. We sit without uttering a sound Two souls in April Feeling the gloriousness of God’s gentle rain

Caren, Can it be? What the world needs now, more imaginative creations. And the unlimited potential for good that can only be found in a gentle rain. -Richard

Now you're Isaac Asimov. (Before you were Ray Bradbury/Fahrenheit 451). Do you know Asimov's story about the gentle rains? It's called 'There Will Come Soft Rains.' Highly recommended! Not too long a story... I know about your so-called 'attention span.' lol. Seriously, it's a winner. Take care, Gershon
