A Gentle Farewell
Life - a brittle thing
fragile bones hosted a young spirit
We bade you farewell
in a golden circle of love
Softly spun through webs of silk
in the wee hours of the moonlit night
A most fitting companion I’d say
it walked you home in shreds of light
