A Garden To Be Filled

My heart was like a garden
waiting to be filled
so roses and thorns
entered as they willed.

The thorns, they wound me
but soon they leave
the roses brought love
that none could believe.

The thorns come n go
but the roses, they stay
they spread happiness
around me, each day.

So I shall try my best
to keep them inside
and together we'll grow
side by side.

Hi Maryam I love this poem, the roses inside will draw people to you because they will smell the sweet scent. Keep those thorns at bay. God Bless. Leon
