an amalgam of couplets
The garden came alive today
leaves are bursting forth,apace
I brush a tall primrose in early bloom
On the evening breeze a yellow perfume
Scents to mingle in summer heat,
Jasmine,Honeysuckle, bittersweet.
Between white daisies on which footsteps pass
Dandelions dancing upon the grass.
Meadowsweet & forget-me-nots
Pastel shade my garden plot
Gardens parasol bedecked,
picknicing wasps wander unchecked.
Lasting,just a moment,transitory as snow
Indelible impressions,stay,and never go
