Colourful fairy lights are glittering There’s a feeling of magic in the air Tonight we’re having a garden party All friends and family are to be there. Food’s cooking outside on the barbecue Glasses out and wine ready to pour And the weather is pleasantly balmy Who could ask or wish for anything more. No doubt there will singing and dancing Beneath the moon and the stars on high Memories made to last us forever As the years steadily go passing by. Excited guests are slowly arriving Greeting one another warmly with love For sure it’s going to be a rave up I’ve secretly hidden the boxing gloves.

Beryl, you've added a little note of humor at the end of this one. I'm thinking how wonderful it is to have a party and approach it without unfeasible expectations, but rather to just have a good time and enjoy other's company. You have a really wonderful attitude about life and it shows!! How lucky we are who understand what you are explaining between the lines. Smiles!!

Beryl. This is an inredibly womderful write,And a FAV You really have an almost natural way of writing that people like me struggle to create. That doesn’t mean I’m putting myself down. So please don’t misunderstand. We all come here with our own talent as they are.
