A garden in heaven

As time unfolds it's decadent myriads
As from an embryo thus born
A living pulsating form
Bringing in a new era of life

The clock strikes an hour
Making place for amendment
elaborating on trials and perfection
Encountering bliss and sometimes sadness

As the clouds darken and days change to years
Bringing with it toil and struggle
The years darken as age becomes prominent
Humbling the spirit and bringing in numbness

For then he thinks of a haven
A place to shelter and retire
A garden like Eden
Untouched with unrest and toil .
