A Game

It's all just a game, whose heartstrings can we pull and whose can we sever Who faked true love and who promised forever? The girl dressed in black with all her wicked chains She once thought of elegance in thunderstorms and rain Her black broken heart, the flawless blue sky He told her he loved her, now she's scared to try The boy full of life, more mysterious than a cat He broke her and left her and never looked back Now the true pain, a rebellious son After months of waiting his heart was won The one she loved more than the world The one who convinced her she was a beautiful girl They know that she cries, and she bleeds caustic red Now all she hears is his voice in her head It's all just a game, whose heartstrings can we pull and whose can we sever Who faked true love and who promised forever?
