A Funny Thing Happened On the Way To Church
A funny thing happened on the way to church.
I got hammered as it started to rain.
The wipers were steering left and right
and it was clear that I wasn’t in my lane.
Yesterday, my spouse had been working near my car.
Thus a funny thing happened on the way to church,
as rain was flying wiper to wiper with tremendous force.
Those bible verses clear - be kind, loving, and do no harm.
I can hear the thunder roar and hail-like force of horns.
Oh woe is me, my bible laughs at me, for
a funny thing happened on the way to church.
If you only knew what hullabaloo, my friend.
A tool quite off course, should have stayed home
with the nails - the hammer let loose on my windshield
then like thor’s unholy score wanted to sin some more.
