A Fugitive

A fugitive from injustice
Hunted like a criminal,
Hid from conspiracies,
Wrongly accused,
Misunderstood not believed,
Plots schemed, lies planned,
Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide,
Trapped in a cell of deceit,
Guilty of the crime of being innocent,
Where righteousness had lost her honor,
And honesty was lost forever,
Free me from the state of imprisonment,
Where captivity and punishment live,
Lies have bound and forever running,
A penalty and sentence that will never escape,
Drawing back to defend,
Hoping for a glimpse of truth,
Save me from the fear of entrapment.
Where will help come from?
Will salvation come?
