A Fugitive
A Fugitive
At times I dwell in fantasy
Escaping all the present norms
To re invent my boring soul
escaping with a hero’s heart
And seek adventure as I run
I have not set the world on fire
Preambled with my daily fare
I need to seek another World
Into a scene of wonderous peril
To hide as if a fugitive
among the fleeing prisoners
Of mundane mein and daily blah
To slay a dragon if I must
And save a maiden in distress
embrace my ego with aplomb
And strenghen bonds with those I aid
If I am caught and forced to live
Amid the life of nine to five
My suicide will seal my fate
I lived and died the way I wished
